The BAA Cause

Brides Across America (BAA) was founded by Heidi Janson in 2008 -- after reading an article about a soldier that felt that we forgot them in Afghanistan. She came to the conclusion that we take our daily lives for granted, and wanted to give back and say thank you for those sacrificing their lives for us. And so Brides Across America was born.

Since 2008, BAA has hosted hundreds of wedding gown giveaways for military members & first responders. To date over 750 Operation Wedding Gown events have been held at hundreds of locations throughout the United Stated, and we have gifted more than 25 weddings. You can read more about our programs by clicking the tabs above, or by visiting BAA's website.

Military and first responders can get a free dress at our monthly gown giveaway event.  If you qualify for a free wedding dress,  simply register and attend.
